PBS as Open Source Teaching Resource

I was thinking about using PBS as an open source equivalent of teaching resources. Like using the Joy of Painting as a way of introducing art into the curriculum. Maybe having all content teachers review the material to integrate the material, using those artistic ways of thinking and understanding the world to understand the content. Observation in science goes hand in hand with observation in painting. The deep mode of visualization that Bob Ross talks about is exactly what we try to encourage in our students for both language arts and science.

The 2020 Vision Conference website is intended to provide basic information about the conference, provide access to documents generated, and host forum discussions as follow-up events. The website provides access to the participant names and even a Twitter Hash, as an experiment in pulling in social media comments back to the website.
